Promoter: EmeraldTile Limited (“EmeraldTile”)
Prize: Dream Splashback — Tile Supply & Installation
Prize value: Up to NZ$2,000
Giveaway period: 28 September 2026 – 26 October 2026

1. Eligibility

  1. The giveaway is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.
  2. The prize must be installed at a residential property located within Christchurch, New Zealand.
  3. The property must be suitable for the installation of a new splashback and meet the requirements outlined in these Terms & Conditions.
  4. Employees of EmeraldTile Limited, their immediate family members, and anyone professionally involved in administering the giveaway are not eligible to enter.
  5. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. How to Enter

To receive one main entry, participants must:

  • Follow the EmeraldTile social media account running the giveaway;
  • Like the giveaway post; and
  • Tag one friend in the comments of the giveaway post.

Each eligible participant may receive one main entry.

3. Or enter via Mailing list sign up

Participants may receive one  entry by joining the EmeraldTile mailing list using the designated signup form.

Joining the mailing list is optional and is not required to enter the main giveaway.

Participants who complete both the main entry requirements and the mailing-list signup will receive a maximum of two entries.

4. The Prize

The winner will receive a Dream Splashback package valued at up to NZ$2,000, including:

  • Splashback tiles supplied by EmeraldTile Limited; and
  • Professional installation by EmeraldTile Limited.

The prize is subject to tile availability, site suitability and the installation requirements outlined in these Terms & Conditions.

The prize is for one residential splashback area at a property located within Christchurch, New Zealand.

5. Existing Splashback and Site Preparation

The prize does not include the removal of an existing splashback.

If the winner currently has an existing splashback in the area where the new splashback is to be installed, the existing splashback must be completely removed by the winner before the installation date.

The wall or substrate must be accessible and reasonably suitable for installation at the time of the scheduled installation.

The prize does not include additional building, repair, preparation or remedial work required as a result of an unsuitable or damaged substrate.

Any additional work required outside the agreed prize package will be discussed with the winner before work proceeds and will not be included in the $2,000 prize value unless agreed otherwise by EmeraldTile Limited.

6. Prize Value and Upgrades

The total prize value is up to NZ$2,000.

The winner may choose to upgrade their splashback package by selecting additional or higher-value tiles, additional work or other available options. Any amount exceeding the NZ$2,000 prize value will be payable by the winner.

Any upgrade must be agreed with EmeraldTile Limited before installation.

The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, or substituted for cash or another product or service.

Any costs associated with work outside the agreed prize package, including additional preparation or remedial work, will be the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise agreed in writing with EmeraldTile Limited.

7. Winner Selection

  1. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the giveaway period.
  2. The draw will take place after the giveaway closes.
  3. The winner will be contacted using the social media account used to enter and/or the contact details provided through the mailing-list entry.
  4. If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, or is found to be ineligible, EmeraldTile Limited reserves the right to select another winner.

8. Installation

Installation will be arranged at a mutually suitable time between the winner and EmeraldTile Limited.

The installation must take place at the Christchurch property nominated by the winner and approved by EmeraldTile Limited.

EmeraldTile Limited reserves the right to assess the proposed installation area before work commences to confirm that the site is suitable for the prize installation.

9. Winner Announcement

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that EmeraldTile Limited may announce their name or social media username as the giveaway winner on EmeraldTile's social media channels.

EmeraldTile Limited may request photographs of the completed splashback for promotional purposes. Any use of photographs featuring the winner or their property will be discussed with the winner before publication.

10. Social Media Disclaimer

This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta.

Participants release Facebook, Instagram and Meta from any liability relating to this giveaway.

11. Personal Information

Personal information collected through the giveaway will be used for the purposes of administering the giveaway and, where the participant has opted into the mailing list, for sending EmeraldTile marketing communications.

Participants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in EmeraldTile emails.

12. General

EmeraldTile Limited reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any participant who does not comply with these Terms & Conditions or who attempts to manipulate or interfere with the entry process.

EmeraldTile Limited reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the giveaway where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.

EmeraldTile Limited's decision regarding eligibility and the selection of the winner is final, subject to applicable New Zealand law.
